Project description: On property that formerly housed general contractor MoDoCo Inc., its owner Morris Dock is building a retail and restaurant development. Three buildings are planned, and Dock said the first would be ready for occupancy in early November. The second, a 4,000-square-foot structure, should get finished by late winter, he said. Dock expects to get started on that construction in mid-October. He said two tenants – a retailer and a restaurant – signed for the first buildings, though he’s not yet at liberty to disclose the names. A third building is planned for an undetermined date. Dock said site work cost at least $600,000 with plenty of fill dirt brought in to even out a sloping terrain, as well as installation of an underground stormwater culvert and a gravel drain system to purify rainwater from the parking lot.
