Project description: This summer, 70 furnished studio apartments will be complete in two four-story buildings fronting National Avenue from Missouri State University’s campus. “As an all-studio building, it allows students and young professionals alike the option to live alone at a price they can afford,” said Anna Eatherton, sales and marketing manager at Entrust Property Solutions, which manages the property. She said each microunit apartment rents for $750 per month, with internet and utility fees included. Ground-floor restaurant and retail space also is planned for the building, which is being erected where aging properties were demolished earlier this year. The buildings are designed with connectivity on each level through open-air exterior covered breezeways, according to permits on file with the city.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
