New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo easily yesterday warded off a primary challenge from activist and "Sex and the City" actress Cynthia Nixon.
Cuomo won with about 65 percent of the vote after spending $8.5 million on the gubernatorial primary campaign.
Following the election, he put out a tweet that said simply “Thank You New York."
