Coca-Cola named a new chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
Brian Smith, the company's president of the Europe, Middle East and Africa group, is slated to become COO at the start of 2019. He'll fill a post that's been vacant since James Quincey became CEO last year.
The company also announced CFO Kathy Waller will retire by year's end after 32 years with the company. She'll be succeeded by John Murphy, the president of Coke's Asia Pacific unit.
