Audi CEO arrested in diesel emissions probe

Audi CEO Rupert Stadler was arrested as part of an investigation into the carmaker's diesel emissions scandal.

German prosecutors said Stadler was arrested over fears he might tamper with evidence.

The scandal first focused on Volkswagen, which owns Audi. Its Audi subsidiary was later targeted in the investigation.
