Small-business fairness board schedules local hearing

The Small Business Regulatory Fairness Board will hold a meeting in Springfield on Sept. 3 to hear from business owners on how state rules and regulations affect their operations.

The public hearing will be 1–4 p.m. at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, 202 John Q. Hammons Parkway.

Comments may be given orally, with a limit of five minutes, or by written testimony. To register to testify, fill out the registration form at the board’s Web site, e-mail a request to sbrfb@ded.mo.gov or call (866) 719-1401. Walk-in testimony will be allowed if time permits.

Business owners who wish to testify but can’t attend the meeting can send written testimony in advance. A submission form is available at the board’s Web site and should be sent to the board at the Missouri Department of Economic Development, PO Box 118, Jefferson City, MO, 65102, or e-mailed to sbrfb@ded.mo.gov.[[In-content Ad]]
