Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (Nasdaq: JKHY) today announced it signed a credit union client with $2.3 billion in assets.
Newport News, Virginia-based Langley Federal Credit Union will use Jack Henry division Symitar’s Episys core system for in-house data processing, according to a news release.
“With this system, our credit union will have a vast choice of integrated vendors, and we can trust that connections can be built where they don't yet exist,” Langley Federal Senior Vice President Deb Vollmer said in the release.
The system is expected to streamline Langley Federal’s data usage, management and reporting.
Langley Federal joins Symitar’s client list of more than 800 credit unions, according to the release.
Monett-based financial industry software firm Jack Henry earlier this month reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $60 million, an 11 percent increase.
JKHY shares were trading at $103.47 as of 11:05 a.m., near a 52-week high of $103.69. The company’s 52-week low is $79.
