Springfield-based technology startup CellARide LLC is among 15 companies selected to travel to New York City this fall for the St. Louis Startup Roadshow.

On Sept. 8, the company is scheduled to present to Fortune 500 innovation executives, venture capital firms, independent investors and members of the media. The companies for the show were chosen by Accelerate St. Louis, Thomson Reuters and the St. Louis Regional Chamber, according to a news release.

“We’re honored to be considered one of St. Louis’ leading technology startups and look forward to representing both the St. Louis and Springfield, Missouri, communities,” CellARide founder and CEO Josh Holstein said in the release.

The presentation is designed to showcase St. Louis’ leading information technology and financial services startups on a national scale. St. Louis-based technology startup accelerator Capital Innovators in early 2014 invested $50,000 in CellARide.

Prior to the show in New York, CellARide and the 14 other companies are scheduled to present at an Aug. 14 preview event in St. Louis, according to the release.

CellARide offers a text-message marketing platform for the auto dealer industry. CellARide’s CarInfoToGo service allows users to text a short code for more information on a vehicle and also sends dealers contact information for those browsing their inventory. It also provides a watercraft service via BoatInfoToGo.com.

In June, the company was selected to receive $175,000 in capital from public-private partnership Missouri Technology Corp., bringing CellARide’s total investment level to $640,000.
