Bryan Properties buys Branson Hills hotel

Springfield-based Bryan Properties LLC owner Bryan Magers closed on the purchase of the 89-room Hampton Inn at the Branson Hills golf resort and neighborhood.

With the acquisition from BH Hotel LLC - owned by Rick Huffman of HCW LLC - Bryan Properties now operates two Hampton Inn properties in the Branson market. The other, a 109-room hotel, is located on West Country Music Boulevard, according to a news release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We have experienced solid growth at our other property, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity for us to own both Hampton Inns in Branson,” Bryan Properties official Brad Gebhard said in the release.

The Hampton Inn at Branson Hills is a four-story hotel adjacent to the 18-hole Branson Hills Golf Club. HCW developed the Branson Hills golf resort and neighborhood.

Bryan Properties plans to make an undisclosed investment in the Branson Hills hotel to modernize the property, according to the release.

Magers said Debbie Kitchen, the company’s manager in Branson for 11 years, will become regional director of the properties, and Matt Neal will stay on as general manager of the Branson Hills hotel.

“We feel our team can really capitalize on the momentum of Branson,” Magers said in the release.

Some $350 million in projects are said to be underway in the market.
