Nintendo profits slip 36%

Nintendo reported a 36 percent drop in quarterly profits after lackluster video game sales for the year-end holiday shopping season.

In the fourth quarter, net income was 29.1 billion yen, or $241 million, a decrease from 45.2 billion yen a year earlier.

Quarterly sales slipped 18 percent to 221.5 billion yen, or $1.8 billion.
