New Jeep will get Brazil debut before US

Jeep plans to reveal its replacement for the Compass and Patriot SUVs in Brazil this fall.

That's before North American customers will first see it in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Mike Manley, head of the Jeep and Ram brands for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, said because the Jeep is a global vehicle, it felt "more appropriate for us to celebrate that in Brazil."
