IMDb will have to remove actors' ages under new law

Under a new law signed by California Gov. Jerry Brown, IMDb will have to remove the age of Hollywood actors and actresses.

The law forces subscription websites used by casting services and entertainment employers to remove age information in online profiles if asked.

The Screen Actors Guild favored the change, saying it would help prevent age discrimination in film and television hiring.
