Discount retailer Dollar Tree reported a more than 38 percent decrease in third-quarter profits, as the company was hit by expenses related to the integration of its Family Dollar acquisition.
Net income moved down to $81.9 million, or 35 shares per share, from $133 million, or 64 cents per share, a year earlier.
For the company's fiscal quarter ended Oct. 31, sales more than doubled to nearly $5 billion from $2.1 billion.
