Disneyland pass price tops $1,000

Want to visit Disneyland? It’s going to cost you.

The happiest place on Earth has upped the price of its highest pass to $1,049. The no-blackout date pass was just $779 this season for the Anaheim, Calif., park.

According to CNNMoney, the more expensive passes come with additional benefits, such as admission to the water parks and the Disney Oak Trail golf course on its property.

The Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) is in the process of opening two Star Wars-themed expansions.

In Florida, a similar pass at Disney World is $829 a year, up from $654, according to CNNMoney.
