Bill Gates is now worth $90B

The world’s richest man is getting richer - but not from his brainchild, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index.
 
The Microsoft co-founder’s net worth crossed $90 billion Tuesday as Canadian National Railway Co. (NYSE: CNI) and Ecolab (NYSE: ECL) share values increased.
 
Gates’ net worth has climbed $6.2 billion in 2016, according to CNNMoney. His gains trail that of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg with $8.9 billion, Continental Resources CEO Harold Hamm with $7 billion and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos with $6.5 billion.
