President Barack Obama is set today to unveil his administration's climate change plan aimed at a large reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from the nation's coal-burning power plants.
Dubbed the Clean Power Plan, the initiative would require states to meet carbon emission reduction standards, based on their individual energy consumption. It also includes an incentive program designed to award states for their use of renewable energy and low-income energy solutions, according to CNN.
Many states intend to fight the plan, according to the report.
